I call this outfit 'cold enough to wear a hat and coat, warm enough to not wear pants' - which basically sums up Winter in LA. This year I was on the hunt for cute ankle booties to add to my wardrobe. I ended up finding this Vince Camuto pair and I love the color and thicker heel (linked HERE). I generally find Vince Camuto shoes and heels to be pretty comfy so I've been able to wear these all day at work. Contrary to popular belief, this camo shirt dress is in fact from Aritzia (linked HERE), NOT another men's t-shirt stolen from some unsuspecting guy lol. Camel coat is from BooHoo linked HERE and 'Girls Tour' hat is from Sorella boutique. Drake tears (LOL) phone case is from Case Yard, linked HERE.
Steve Jobs? Sassy librarian? Lol, this is another one of my favorite work outfits. I found the perfect black (faux) leather skirt from Dynamite linked here. Every girl needs a black leather skirt! It is a game changer. I find myself wearing it to work at least once or twice a week, and it also looks cute dressed down with sneakers. The turtle neck is from Aritzia and heels are from Zara. I rarely wear my hair up but felt a bun was perfect with this outfit (plz ignore hairs falling out of said bun lol). If you need more work outfit inspo and want links for similar heels keep scrolling down to my previous post.
Wow is it V day already? Valentine’s Day is a perfect day to celebrate the people you love; whether it be your significant other, family or close friends (GALentines day anyone?). As a child I loved picking out Valentine’s Day cards and gifts for my friends - usually something Winnie the Pooh - and getting some of those cute candy hearts that say things like "U R CUTE" and "MY MAN". A watch is a perfect (adult) gift for Valentine’s Day, a birthday or an anniversary.
JORD Wood Watches makes beautiful, unique women's watches (and men's too) - you can check out their full collection here. My love of watches has grown so much over the last few years, although more so as an accessory than to actually keep time, but I swear I can still read a traditional watch lol. I gravitate towards minimal designs, and black with gold is one of my favorite combinations, so I immediately had my eye on the JORD Wood Frankie watch in Ebony & Gold - linked here. I love that it is crafted from wood, which makes it one of the coolest women’s watches I own, and gives it a unique texture and feel. Plus, they do custom engraving - perfect for personalizing a gift. I have been wearing a lot of black and white lately, and I thought my JORD wood watch completed this look. Outfit details/similar items are linked at the bottom of this post :p
I am getting super excited for US Thanksgiving this week and all the sales on Black Friday! It's kinda crazy that it's already mid-November, wth guys! I am still in love with these rose tinted sunglasses I picked up at the Melrose Trading Post (linked similar ones below). I paired this oversized blush bomber jacket with a slip dress from Aritzia (linked here), and my fav Sam Edelman over the knee boots to make it more Fall/Winter ish. The jacket is from Sorella boutique, they don't currently have it in stock but I found some cute similar ones for you! Also linked a few slip dresses below and black over the knee boots. Hope everyone has an amazing week :)
It's finally Fall in LA which means I can wear hoodies, jackets and over the knee boots again! For some reason I just felt that blue velvet over the knee boots were something I needed in my closet haha. These are the Eve Round Heel Long Boots in Navy Velvet from Public Desire (linked HERE). I don't normally wear yellow but I just thought this color block Champion hoodie was so cute. I am loving all the Champion exclusives at Urban Outfitters right now. This hoodie is sold out already :( but I linked a bunch of my other fave champion sweatshirts below, they have so many nice colors ahhhh and are so comfy. If you plan on wearing the hoodie as a dress I would order a size up - I ordered a size Small and it was almost too short, I think Medium would have been perfect. Also, there are actually matching sweats for this hoodie so I linked those too just for fun.
While it may seem like all I do is eat icecream, I do in fact work out I swear! :p I absolutely LOVE doing yoga and have been really enjoying trying out different studios around LA lately. I also have a weakness for yoga pants and 'athleisure' wear (I wear yoga pants all the time regardless if I'm working out). The ones in this look are the 'All The Right Places' pants from Lululemon and damn that name is v accurate, they fit so nicely and I love the pockets on the sides. My cropped hoodie is from Brandy Melville and my sneakers are Vans. I linked similar items below including a bunch of bomb yoga pants and other cute yoga stuff!
