Salaam (Peace) my loves! Here are some more pictures from my time in Morocco, more specifically my visit to the Atlas Mountains and a Berber village. (Quick history/fact lesson: the Berbers are the indigenous people of North Africa). Unfortunately I injured my ankle while playing duck-duck-goose with some cute kids at the Berber elementary school so I was forced to hobble around most of the time, but I was so happy to escape the busy craziness of Marrakech to relax in this beautiful landscape.
We spent the night at a Berber cultural centre where we learned how to make bread and tagines (traditional Moroccan dish). The tagines were seriously the best I had in my whole time in Morocco, it makes me hungry just thinking about it! We also had a Moroccan mint tea making contest, I am pretty sure I should have won because mine was delicious but whatev :p. Writing this, I am totally missing my travel buddies! I especially miss my London babe Bethany (who I keep talking about in my posts lately cause I'm creepy like that). It was such a blessing to be able to connect with people from around the world and experience new things with them... Awwww... I'm getting all sentimental on you guys... enjoy my photo diary.
