I absolutely loved LONDON. Looking at these pictures reminds me of all the good memories I have from there. Luckily for me, my brother has been living in London for over a year now, so it felt like a second home to me from the moment I arrived. My brother has unknowingly been picking up all this British lingo, I kept catching him saying “Cheers” and things like “Ya, we might do” – Might do? Might do what, you ask? (it basically means “maybe” lol).
I was really impressed with London's multiculturalism and amazing food, and I'm not talking about fish & chips. We visited the Borough (food) market and ate at an amazing Spanish restaurant nearby called Brindisa (seriously if you are in London, go there)! We also ate delicious Turkish food at a restaurant called Mangal. I've become obsessed with these Haribo sour cola gummy candies! If anyone knows where I can find them in Canada, let me know.
As you may have heard me mention on my Instagram or previous posts, I LOVED shopping in London. Oxford Street has every store you can imagine and I went to the Westfield shopping centre not once, but twice. While shopping with my British BFF Bethany, I apparently imagined I was going to be in rap video soon and somehow ended up buying Timberlands, Nike Air Maxes and leggings with dollar bills on them - like what the?? (I do love Timbs though).
Thankfully we were blessed with beautiful weather for the most part, contrary to people claiming London is rain central. Being the big secret nerd that I am, I really enjoyed all the Harry Potter stuff around London. We didn't get tickets far enough in advance for the Harry Potter studio tour, so I had to make my own "tour" as we explored the city lol. I am hoping to return to London in December!
Enjoy my photo diary lovelies!
