A couple Sundays ago, Farah and I were invited to attend the Jive Glasshouse garden party hosted by Tastemakers Edmonton and photograph the most stylish guests. The event took place in Con Boland's beautiful garden and featured amazing live jazz music. I loved the unique additions of a candy bar, selfie mirror, bubble wands, mini golf and the garden furniture provided by River City. We had a lot of fun attempting to get a cute shot of me blowing bubbles (it's harder than it looks ok).
The dress code was all white; perfect for a garden party (unless you fall down into a flower bed of dirt or something). For some reason, my first outfit choice was a cream maxi skirt and knitted long-sleeve cropped sweater…yes you read correctly, knitted and sweater lol. It was atleast 30 degrees that day. I don’t like to let the weather control my life OK... Luckily I had Farah convince me I would overheat, and instead I changed into my white Rag&Bone jeans (which I love), a white tee and my Mash Style Moss necklace obvs. I added the bold lip (Heroine from MAC) to add a pop of colour to my all-white outfit.
This is the first Tastemakers Edmonton event I’ve been to and I love the way they brought multiple concepts together to create such a unique experience. I'm excited to see what they do next.
