My LA highlights / travel guide:
1. DISNEYLAND: I loved it soooo much! My fave ride was Thunder Mountain - we were laughing like 5 year olds on crack basically. The churro icecream sandwiches are a must have - you can only get them at one specific kiosk in Downtown Disney (warning: the icecream melts really fast - potentially all over your clothes...).
2. Fave food:
In-N-Out burger (obviously) - just get everything animal style and you're good to go
Blue Plate Oysterette in Santa Monica (the lobster was so yummy)
Joan’s on Third for a casual lunch / dinner / cupcakes etc...
3. SilverCar: We rented from Silvercar and it was AWESOME – they only rent silver A4 Audis with in-car wifi. It really wasn’t any more expensive than using a typical rental agency (and they often have promos going on). You just need to download their app and the check in/out is easy as pie (not sure if that is even a real saying?).
4. Griffith Observatory: The amazing view of the city was totally worth the drive; random parking on the side of the road; and the long hike up to the top lol. There are also huge telescopes and we got to look at the Moon and Venus, on a side note I am now obsessed with space, stars and black holes…
5. Fave shopping:
Wasteland: cool vintage / designer / thrift store – I clearly don’t know how to describe it but yes good stuff
Bloomingdales: I bought so many beautiful pairs of shoes there (shopaholic problems)
Melrose Trading Post: Lots of really cool stuff! Happens every Sunday. I would have loved to go to the Rose Bowl Flea market as well but it wasn't happening the dates we were there.
LOVE & Happy Friday!
