My San Francisco highlights / travel guide:
1. Bike riding across the golden gate bridge to Sausalito was my FAVORITE thing we did in SF. We rented bikes; road along the pier which was soo beautiful; up to the golden gate bridge and then across to an island called Sausalito. It was amazing, we had dinner by the water there and wandered around a little bit, then took a ferry back because we are lazy haha.
2. Ghiradelli chocolate factory: If you love chocolate then you need to go here and have one of their delicious sundaes…probably best to share one haha we had a warm brownie sundae and I nearly died.
Union Square has every major shop/brand you could think of
For thrift and vintage stores go to Haight street
4. Japanese Tea Gardens: so beautiful and quiet, didn’t take us very long to walk through though, they also randomly had really good hot chocolate there…
5. Dolores park: our lovely friend Chaimae took us to grab lunch and then to sit on the hill at Dolores park, which has a really nice view of the city (bottom left picture above).
I will add that if you are going to SF to bring lots of layers, I was soooooo cold most of the time because it was windy :p
